There is “NONE” Righteous

Isaiah 53:6

[6] All “WE” (the prophet Isaiah includes himself) like sheep have gone astray; we have turned “EVERY ONE” to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him (Jesus) the iniquity (sin) of us all.

Psalms 14:2-3

[2]The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were “ANY” that did understand, and seek God.

[3]They are “ALL” gone aside, they are “ALL TOGETHER” become filthy: there is “NONE” that doeth good, no, not “ONE”.

Romans 3:10

[10]As it is written, There is “NONE RIGHTEOUS”, no, not “ONE”:

You may say, “that’s not true. I do GOOD and RIGHT most of the time.

The prophet said those things in the sense that we are not good “ENOUGH” or righteous “ENOUGH”!

And to God, not being good “ENOUGH” or righteous “ENOUGH” is the “SAME THING” as not being good “ENOUGH” or righteous “ENOUGH” …AT ALL!!!

Ephesians 2:8-9

[8]For by GRACE are ye saved through faith; and that NOT OF YOURSELVES: it is the “GIFT” of God:

Apostle Paul says Salvation is NOT OF OURSELVES! You know why …because it “CAN’T” BE of OURSELVES! We (flesh) cannot be saved from our sins by our OWN EFFORTS at trying to be sinless “ENOUGH” to be accepted into the KINGDOM of GOD! Because we (flesh) “CANNOT” be sinless “ENOUGH”!!! There is NONE RIGHTEOUS!!!

[9] NOT OF WORKS, lest any man should boast.

Apostle says SALVATION is NOT by trying to do the WORKS (deeds; the commandments of the law of Moses) good ENOUGH!!! Because we CAN’T!!! We (flesh) are UNRIGHTEOUS BEINGS!!!

Romans 3:20

[20]Therefore by the DEEDS OF THE LAW there shall NO “FLESH” be JUSTIFIED (made righteous) in his sight:

The law is righteous …but we are not!!! We can’t be sinless ENOUGH trying to do the WORKS of the LAW good to be accepted into God’s kingdom.

If we (flesh) could be RIGHTEOUS ENOUGH through our “OWN EFFORTS” at being RIGHTEOUS ENOUGH, or if we (flesh) could receive the “COMPLETE” FORGIVENESS from our sin without the sacrifice Jesus made for us, then we (flesh) would not have needed a Savior to rescue us from our UNRIGHTEOUS and UNFORGIVEN condition!!!

Romans 3:23

[23]For all have sinned, and come short of the glory (the perfection and sinlessness of God;

 

Yes, we do good and we do right. But we also do bad and we do wrong at times. But all it takes is one sin to “come short” of the “perfection” and “sinlessness” of God.

 

That’s why Apostle Paul tells us that NO FLESH can be justified (made righteous) by doing the RIGHTEOUS DEEDS of the righteous law of Moses!!!

 

The COMMANDMENTS (deeds; works) in the law of Moses are perfect and righteous, but we are “SHORT” of the perfection and sinlessness of God because we have sinned or will sin.

 

That is why doing the righteous COMMANDMENTS of the law cannot make us perfect and righteous enough.

 

If we could be perfect, righteous and forgiven enough by doing the righteous deeds of the law then we would have not have needed Jesus to come to suffer and die so that we could be “completely” forgiven and given eternal life!

 

Obviously “we” (flesh) could not be “completely” forgiven our sins until Jesus suffered and died to bring the “complete” forgiveness of sin that we needed

 

Yes, when we (flesh) came to God for forgiveness before Jesus came, God would bring us back into His “good graces”, but God still would not forgive us to the extent that God would grant us complete forgiveness to the extent that he would give us eternal life.

 

Because if God would have brought us “complete” forgiveness and eternal life before Jesus came, then Jesus would not have needed to come to suffer and die so that God “would” grant us “complete” forgiveness to the extent that he gives us eternal life in His holy kingdom!!!

 

But God still loves us enough that he sent us a SAVIOR to rescue us from “not being” righteous enough or good enough!

 

John 3:16

[16]For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
